Just finished the book, be honest, do not like the novel that much. Except some passages about meaning of life were beautifully written, the whole story does not appeal to me. One can hardly understand his love to M, maybe it could only happen to deformed people, but the whole thing makes me feel it was so distorted. The only other novel by Maugham which I have read is “the razor’s edge”, but that is long time ago, I enjoyed then, not sure what I will feel if I read now.

看了预告惊呆了，世上竟有如此玛丽苏之剧！
结构和写法太狡猾了。爱情剧集、哲学思考、人性心理，用短小的段落式交织着写，形成一种更易读更自然的意识流。单说主线情节再简单不过，但发散出很多有趣深入的思维，读起来很轻松很舒服。
六神的现代口语体融合了唐诗的故事性、趣味性和知识性，虽浅白，但画面感强。所讲述的每一位诗人都个性鲜明，呼之欲出。课后作业用心良苦，也可做成年人的唐诗普及教育剧集。

前三分之一看起来很轻松，中间三分之一要稍加理解，后面三分之一只能是看懂了字面意思。虽然是1960年代的书，但是书里的知识还是没有过时，做为一本科普书，本剧的内容非常惊艳。只是经历了半个世纪了，物理学也只是在前人的基础上进行了修修补补，没有重大的突破，期待新的超级大脑出现。
